Malhar Mishra

Counselling Psychologist

Hi, I’m Malhar! I’m a counsellor who holds this work with a lot of care and curiosity. I believe therapy is a space that allows for honesty, reflection, and the possibility of seeing ourselves in ways we may not have before — a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out - ever!

My work is grounded in a narrative and non-pathologising approach. I am deeply interested in understanding how people’s experiences are shaped not just individually, but through our relationships, social contexts, and the larger systems we are a part of. I work collaboratively with clients to explore your stories, make sense of patterns, and gently open up space for new meanings and possibilities.

A belief that deeply shapes my work is that there are always multiple stories to our lives, even when one feels overwhelming or dominant. My aim is to create a space where these often overlooked stories can be heard and explored with care.

I work with adults navigating concerns such as anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and identity exploration, as well as questions of meaning, belonging, and the impact of past experiences. My practice is trauma-sensitive, queer-affirmative, and neurodivergence-affirmative.

Outside of therapy, I am a foodie, an avid movie watcher (also one of the few people who has watched every single episode of Grey’s Anatomy — still going strong), and a trained dancer and choreographer

I look forward to being alongside you in your journey!
